Looking for Dog Friendly Holidays and Accommodation?
One of the biggest problems Dog owners have, is finding somewhere they can take their pets when they want to go on holiday, visit friends or any kind of travelling that requires accommodation. It’s an issue we have all had to deal with at some point in our lives.
Recently while hunting for a dog friendly hotel I came across this Magazine called, believe it or not, “Dog Friendly.” I couldn’t believe my luck. It was exactly what I needed, and I would recommend it to every dog owner that likes to travel. It is full of tried and tested reviews on places to visit, plus tips and expert advice on traveling with your best friend. It’s worth a look. At the time of writing this post (June 2019) they were offering the first issue free.

We started the DogFriendly database and the magazine after we struggled to find suitable accommodation and places to visit when on holiday with our dogs.
We continue our aim to provide dog lovers with information and inspiration on exploring dog friendly places throughout the country. Our members have access to the most detailed information on dog friendly places available anywhere in the UK today.
We have more than 40,000 businesses Registered on our databases including hotels, self catering cottages and properties, pubs, beaches and days-out, where you and your dogs will Be welcomed.
Our database is also the most up to date. The DogFriendly team contact every hotel and every pub on the search directory once a year to ensure that they are still dog friendly and that the details we hold are correct.
We constantly add new information and new hotels, pubs and beaches from the research that our team do throughout the year.
As a member of DogFriendly, you can search our directory by town or county and you will be presented with dog friendly places in that area. For Hotels and places to stay, you will also find details on how many dogs they will accept, whether or not you can leave your dogs alone in the room, how much you will be charged if you take your dog and – of course – whether or not the owner of the hotel has a dog!
When you look further into a listing you will also find information on other places to discover in that area.
